AW 2011-12

For this show we were inspired by two Dutch artists, Maarten Kolk and Guus Kusters, who combine nature with textiles, molding cotton, felt and paper textiles to the skeletons of animals, allowing only the claws of the feet to remain visible. We invited these artists to our show and shortly after they wrote us saying just as we had been inspired by their work, they were in turn inspired by ours, and made a bird covered in black pleated leather.
