AW 2016-17
For the first time, we showed our collection in London, which gave us a new energy.
We focused on integrating a man’s wardrobe into a woman’s closet. The idea of masculine archetypes with a feminine sophistication was further expanded through collaborating with Mouton Collet in creating Fetish masks and jewelry for our Relics line. Masks were made from men’s neck ties cut in the soft silk jacquards used that season, and from belts in sturdy black leather and richly colored velvet in subtle shades of ruby, lapis and amethyst.
Whilst the masks culminated with an elevated impression of eccentric fixation and fetish found in the duality of dressing in both feminine and masculine ways, we conceived an anonymous and genderless identity.
