AW 2017-18

In continuing our millinery collaboration with Stephen Jones, we analyzed the way in which Edie Bouvier Beale, a socialite of days gone by, would regenerate her faded glory in exhibiting salvaged objects through her fantastical sense of fashion and how it obscured her silhouette. Stephen repurposed everyday items, including plastic shopping bags, t-shirts and sweaters, souvenir pins, a handbag, a coat, and a white shirt with the hanger still left inside, into headwear which resulted in a sophisticated twist found in day-to-day simplicity.

Showing this collection and presenting our interpretations and believed abstractions of fashion during the Haute Couture schedule was a monumental step for us. When we received the invitation from the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, we were very excited as it will open new perspectives for our future.
